Cait Pool is an American actress best known for her roles in television as Peggy Sutter, the sweet southern preacher's daughter swept off her feet by Jerry Lee Lewis in the CMT miniseries Sun Records, and as the racy queen bee Deb in HBO's Vice Principals. Cait was born Gillian Caitlyn Pool in Tyler, Texas. She spent her younger years enjoying small-town life, spending much time riding trails on her ATV on her family's ranch. Cait is also an accomplished gymnast and a determined scholar, graduating with an Associates Degree from college at the age of 18. At the age of 9, Cait discovered her love of acting while filming her first commercial. The following years, Cait commuted to Dallas often to attend acting classes and to act in independent projects. At the age of fourteen, Cait moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional acting career. Since then, Cait has not only shared the screen with talents such as Mackenzie Davis, Danny McBride, and Walton Goggins, she has worked under the direction of such greats as Roland Joffé and Chuck Lorre.
