Maxwell Peters was born in the Philippines on February 11, 1990. He was adopted by American parents Jerry and Shari Peters, and came to the United States in July of 1990. Growing up in Ridgefield, CT Max was exposed to the arts from a very young age acting in numerous theater performances through school and local community theaters. He later went on to have featured principal roles in The Stepford Wives directed by Emmy Award Winner Frank Oz and Reservation Road directed by Academy Award Winner Terry George. Max's love for the arts lead him to attend Emerson College in Boston, MA where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Marketing Communication with a specialization in Entertainment Marketing. While at Emerson he got his first taste of the entertainment industry from the other side as an intern in the casting and talent relations department for Nickelodeon, assisting the east coast casting for the original series How To Rock as well as other live action and animated series. The wealth of knowledge he gained from his experience with Nickelodeon led Max to co-found Emerson Casting Agency, a full-service talent and modeling agency, which looked to connect Emerson College's prestigious School of the Visual Media Arts with the School of Performing Arts. Also while in college Max worked for local radio stations shooting concert photography country and pop superstars like Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, John Mayer, Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift. Upon graduation Maxwell moved out to Los Angeles to work for The Disney Channel in their casting and talent relations department as an assistant. While at the Disney Channel he oversaw the day-to-day management of Disney's large talent roster and casting for all of The Disney Channel and Disney XD's original movies and series. Maxwell joined the team over at Dreamworks Animation's AwesomenessTV back in April of 2013 overseeing the Fashion and Beauty & Vlogging divisions as well as managing top tier clients. He has also freelances as a casting director on working various projects including a pieces for Proctor & Gamble, Maker Studios, and several independent shorts. Along side friend and up and coming director Johan T. Anderson, Maxwell co-founded and an independent film production company named Hotel Bar Pictures in November of 2012.
